26 Sep It was held the first Water Concert of the Argentinean Chapter of the Club of Rome
On September 22 took place the first edition of the Water Concert of the Argentinean Chapter of the Club of Rome at the Colon Theatre.
The Maestro José Luis Merlin, the flutist Alexandra Syniakova and the choir MusicaQuantica, under the direction of Camilo Santostefano, gave an excellent show before an enthusiastic audience.
Important personalities were present, such as the current Senator Adolfo Rodriguez Saá, the Ambassador of Taiwan Lien Sheng Huang, and the philosopher Santiago Kovadloff.
The initiative of the Water Concert aims to raise funds to support concrete actions related to water. On this occasion, the Argentinean Chapter earmarked the funds raised to support the works of access to water held by the Water and Youth Movement in rural communities of the Province of Santiago del Estero.
In addition, the event also had the motive of the artistic closure of the IV Meeting of the Latin American Chapters of the Club of Rome.
The concert was declared of Interest for the City of Buenos Aires by the Legislature of Buenos Aires, and the Maestro José Luis Merlin, Outstanding Personality of Culture.
