Argentinean Chapter of the Club of Rome

The Argentinean Chapter of the Club of Rome is intended to serve as catalyst for innovative ideas and initiatives in order to answer to a wide range of issues that affect humanity and the environment. Its principles of action are ethics, its interdisciplinary character and a forward-looking vision in addressing complex world issues.

Aurelio Peccei Award

At the first Meeting of Latin American Chapters of the Club of Rome, it was agreed to establish Aurelio Peccei Award for research and development to Latin American youths who excel in the Club of Rome areas of interest and work.

FIRST MEETING OF THE AMERICAN CHAPTERS OF THE CLUB OF ROME

Aiming to “thinking globally to act regionally and locally”, the presidents of the Argentinean Chapter, Alfredo Davérède; Mexican Chapter, Gerardo Gil Valdivia; and Brazilian Chapter, Heitor Gurgulino de Souza, together with members and representatives of other Latin American countries, discussed economic, socio-political, environmental, educational and cultural issues, with the goal of moving from “warning” to “action”, acting directly and creating blocks that “contribute” instead of “divide".
